Fall asleep more easily and quickly + Stay asleep through the night + Promote higher-quality deep sleep = Wake up feeling rejuvenated*

Sleep is like nutrition for the brain. The better sleep you get, the better you feel when you wake up. The worse sleep you get, the worse you feel when you wake up. Lullaby is the sleep-aid of your dreams. Lullaby was designed to help you get the absolute most out of your sleep at night. It can help you wake up in the morning feeling refreshed with energy to conquer your day and help you perform your best in your day-to-day life..

Do any of these statements sound like you?

    • Struggle winding down and falling asleep
    • Have trouble staying asleep and waking up throughout the night
    • Feeling drained & groggy in the morning even after sleeping all night long
    • Work a job that requires shift-work or overnight shifts causing trouble adjusting to different sleep schedules

Achieving high-quality sleep on a nightly basis can be hard! Our lives are filled with “sleep-disruptors:” ANY type of stress factor (mental, physical, or emotional stress), 24-hour access to technology, too much blue light exposure from screens, late-in-the-day caffeine or stimulant consumption, etc. There are many variables that can prevent you from achieving a good quality deep sleep, wrecking how you feel and how you look.

Good quality sleep is essential for good health. The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) reports that a lack of sleep can have a negative effect on your immunity, stability of emotions and hormones, growth and recovery, insulin sensitivity, and healthy functioning of your major organs. You could also experience a poorer metabolism, inadequate performance during training, storing more body fat, taking longer to finish tasks, making more mistakes, or difficulty remembering things.

Lullaby is here to ensure that you can get the best sleep so that you can live your best life, both physically and mentally.

Vitamin B-6 (as pyridoxine HCl), Magnesium (as magnesium glycinate), and Zinc (as zinc monomethionine):

More commonly known as “ZMA,” this concoction of ingredients is a staple in most sleep products. ZMA can promote a deep and restful sleep, and a number of beneficial physiological effects.

“Studies published in the Journal of American Geriatrics Society have revealed that the combination of Zinc, Melatonin and Magnesium is highly recommended to help improve the quality of sleep of insomnia patients.”

    L-Glycine:

L-Glycine promotes good quality sleep so that you can wake up in the morning feeling refreshed, energized and ready to be active. A study shows that a group who took 3g of glycine before bed woke up less fatigued, more natural energy and got more work done on their computer at work than the group who did not. Been proven to help the body fall into REM sleep vs non-REM sleep. Also works on lowering deep body temperature. When the deep body temperature drops, the heat goes to the head and feet, so your metabolism can lower so your brain and body can heal and recover faster.

    Inositol:

Inositol is a naturally occurring pseudovitamin that shows an ability to help with reducing anxiety and depression through its relationship with serotonin and its receptors. This relationship with serotonin can explain how inositol can impact sleep in a positive way. Some research has shown that inositol could have the ability to reduce desensitization of the serotonin receptors, which would explain inositol’s positive benefit for mood and sleep. Can increase length of sleep, decrease tiredness through the day, and can help the body process serotonin and dopamine.

    L-Arginine:

L-arginine is an amino acid that is well- known for its nitric-oxide boosting ability. L-arginine’s increase in nitric oxide production, in the brain in this case, is shown to increase GABA’s effectiveness. "Interestingly, in one of the discussed studies with rats, GABA by itself was found to increase brain GABA by 33%, but when GABA was administered together with L-arginine, brain GABA increased by 383.3%" (Shyamaladevi et all, 2002). The nitric oxide boost from L-arginine can also be helpful in regulating our sleep-wake states. A study shows that nitric oxide levels make a key contribution to our daily slow-wave sleep and rapid-eye movement sleep (SWS & REM sleep).

    Zylaria™ (xylaria nigripes extract):

Zylaria™ is an all-natural mood and sleep enhancing ingredient. It has been shown to help increase mood, well-being, energy, and vitality. It is a natural source of GABA, glutamic acid, and a variety of amino acids, vitamins, & minerals. By increasing GABA’s function in the brain, it can support relaxation and tranquility. It can also optimize one’s time to fall asleep and overall sleep quality by increasing the uptake of GABA to specific brain cell receptors, exerting a tranquilizing effect on the central nervous system.

One study shows that people with lower GABA levels tend to have a higher likelihood of suffering from insomnia at night. GABA supplementation has also been shown to be useful in the treatment of anxiety and increasing production of growth hormone. Another 12-week study showed significant improvement in patients suffering from depression that were administered Xylaria nigripes.

    Magnesium (as Magnesium Glycinate)

Magnesium is a mineral that has many functions in the body. Mg contributes to positive muscle, nerve, and energy functions. Mg has been proven to help aid in muscle recovery from intense exercise. Proper levels of Mg can help the muscles relax and recover faster and more efficiently. Mg bonds with ATP (adenosine triphosphate) and works on energy metabolism.

Magnesium can help reduce symptoms of restless leg syndrome, which can interrupt sleep and cause toss and turning during periods of sleep. Mg is important for stress, as it binds to calm and restful receptors, allowing the body to settle down and relax. Can give a sense of natural drowsiness. It works by activating the parasympathetic nervous system- that's the system responsible for making you feel relaxed.

    L-Theanine

L-Theanine is an amino acid with many benefits. L-theanine has led to increased brain alpha-waves, giving that sense of relaxation and decreased beta-waves. It can cause relaxation without drowsiness and reduce stress. Promotes relaxation and facilitates sleep by contributing to a number of changes in the brain, including boosting levels of GABA, and lowering levels of excitatory brain chemicals and enhancing alpha brain waves. Improves REM sleep.

    5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP)

5-HTP is a natural herb that produces serotonin in the body. Serotonin can be converted into the hormone, melatonin. Which is good for winding the body down and getting to sleep quicker. 5-HTP can also help reduce stress and anxiety, allowing the body to rest and recover much better. In fact, serotonin is so vastly important that when it is out of balance, energy levels and mood can plummet. Oftentimes, people get migraines due to low serotonin levels, 5-HTP can increase serotonin levels and possibly decrease migraines.

    Rutaecarpine

Rutaecarpine is a bioactive alkaloid that can help the body fall asleep faster, deeper, and longer. The body has enzymes that breakdown caffeine, rutaecarpine

“supplements containing rutaecarpine that are designed to enhance the CYP1A2-dependent removal of caffeine from blood so that people can have coffee later in the day without causing sleep interference.”

    AstraGin®

“AstraGin® is a patented, 100% natural compound that increases absorption of many vital nutrients promoting a healthy gut environment”

    Zinc (Zinc Monomethionine)

“Consumption of Zinc helps to have less wake-ups in the night. It is an excellent & safe sleep aid; and also has a calming & antidepressant effect.”

    Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxine HCL)

“We found that vitamin B6 significantly increased the amount of dream content participants recalled but did not significantly affect dream vividness, bizarreness, or color, nor did it significantly affect other sleep-related variables. “

    Melatonin (N-acetyl-5methoxy tryptamine)

“Melatonin has been shown to synchronize the circadian rhythms, and improve the onset, duration and quality of sleep.”

    MicroActive Melatonin (N-acetyl-5-methoxy tryptamine)

“MicroActive Melatonin a two-stage 7-hour 100% sustained release in a free flowing powder. Initial rapid release of 40% of the active ingredient in the first hour then the remaining slowly over the next six hours.”

    Huperzia Serrata Extract (Huperzine)

“200mcg of huperzine-A 30 minutes pre-bed can increase total REM by 20-30 percent”

    -Tim Ferriss
